of Mrs Clara Ellen Cochran, wife of LF Cochran (this seems to be out of
order in time frame, so perhaps some of the pages from previous papers
have been mixed up. I have tried to assure that things are in their
correct chronological order, but it is difficult. You may wish to find
date for this death through another means. MEW) She died after a
lingering illnes; was born in New Albany, IN, 1853, moved to DeFuniak
10 years ago; had a millinery business; was member of Meth. Church and
sang in the choir. Leaves husband, 2 childre, 3 sisters and host of
friends (none named). Buried in family plot at city cemetery.

spent Tuesday in town making logging contracts with the Bay Mill men

Lula Christian, of Indianapolis, arrived Monday noon to be present at
the burial pf her sister, Mrs. Cochran

Sherfey, of New Orleans, an adopted sister of Mrs. Cochran's, arrived
Sunday to attend the funeral of her sister

Hallmark of Freeport, came up from that place Monday. He is not in good
health and is being treated by a physician. His father, mother and wife
came up from Pensacola Monday night

was up from Point Washington Monday and Tuesday attending court

H. Hatcheris in town for the week. This is the first time in 28 years
that Mr. H has served on a jury
