Chattahoochie died suddenly at the asylum last Tuesday, he was buried in

Sheriff
Turner of Putnam Co. was removed by the Governor, about the only reason that
can be assigned for his removal is that he is a republican and very popular.

W.B. Saunders received his appointment and
qualified as Deputy United States Marshal for the Northern Dist., of

this city on the 31st of July, 1889, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. A.
Faye; the little sufferer was but three months old at the time of his death,
Drs. Allred and Landrum did all that medical skill could accomplish but in
vain. “Ere sin could blight or sorrow fade, DEATH came with friendly care, the
opening bud to Heaven conveyed, and bade it blossom there.”
