The following newspapers were filmed at Walton county from various scraps and full papers they had in their archives from 1887 forward.  The films were made available by Mamie Ann Bozeman and her gracious gift is most appreciated. They have been transcribed by Donna Bishop Wright and Mary Ellen Wexler. We typed mainly the items of local interest. A copy of the original film may be used at the Baker Block Museum which has readers with printers attached. 

There are 4 rolls dating from 1889-1915. The first roll is unavailable, but you may call the museum to ask to have it brought in for you on a specific day. It will be at the library permanently when we are finished with transcriptions.
