Rev. GW Parrish of Boggy made us a pleasant visit last week. He brought Miss Alice Davis home who had just completed her school at that place. Mr. Parrish paid a glowing tribute to Miss Alice, and people spoke in high praise of her, he said she was the only teacher who had taught school at that place who had given perfect satisfaction, on the last day of school the children went through their exercises at the school house, and at noon they all repaired to Mr. John Early’s  where they had a bountiful feast, and one of the most enjoyable times that was ever witnesses in that community.

This was Miss Alice’s  first school, and we predict a grand success for her as a teacher.
