The Yellow River RR from Crestview to Florala is "fast building up the town" of Laurel Hill where it is headquartered. There is a new church, Masonic Hall, school and dwellings as well as WB Wright & Co.'s new store. Mr. MS Miller the superintendent is in correspondence with northern agents and arranging for the settlement of colonists and emigrants, keep your eye on Laurel Hill and watch it grow.

Mrs. NC Martin is having a beautiful residence erected a few blocks west of the DeFuniak Hotel. Contractor May is doing the work.

WL Martin, publisher of the Star, and wife anticipate leaving Saturday night to visit relatives in Alabama.
